Deana is a filmmaker and a tennis player. She started playing tennis in 2008 and immediately fell in love with the sport. It provided both exercise and a chance to be social. I loved the lessons and the way she made it feel easy. I didn’t play tennis much before but she ignited a passion inside of me for the sport.
I started playing tennis at 50 years old, worried that my age, fitness level, and arthritis might hold me back. From our very first session, she made me feel comfortable and assured me that tennis was something I could succeed in. Deana has a remarkable ability to meet students where they are, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for beginners and experienced players alike.

Her teaching style is clear and approachable; she breaks down complex techniques in a way that’s easy to understand, regardless of your skill level. Her patience and understanding are unmatched, as she adapts to each student’s pace and needs.
Thanks to Deana’s encouragement and expert guidance, I’ve not only improved my tennis skills but also gained confidence and a newfound love for the sport. If you’re looking for a coach who will support and challenge you while making the learning process fun, I highly recommend Deana Williams. She’s the perfect choice for anyone looking to learn or improve their tennis game.
What do you think?
Those who CAN, teach. Deana is by far one of the best tennis coaches out there. They are not only well versed in how to play the sport but they offer a comprehensive course that tackles every element of play. Grips, strokes, follow through, forehand, backhand, slices, lobs, volleys, serve and smashes. By the time you have completed a full course with Deana you will have a plethora of skills and techniques to assist you whether you are playing at the net or from the baseline. They also create an environment that is not only conducive to learning but also one where you are having tons of fun and getting fitter in the process. They are patient, kind, encouraging, supportive, knowledgeable and friendly. Once you’ve learned the basics they will then work with you to tweak your technique and overall gameplay to help you along the way to master the sport. Look no further than Deana whether your goal is to be a professional player or a casual one. Deana will motivate you to bring out the best in your tennis game and they will also guide you in applying all you’ll learn in tennis into your life outside the court where it will serve you (no pun intended) as a metaphor from which to derive inspiration from.
