About Me
Hi, my name is Anna and I live in Lewisville, TX. Tennis is my favorite sport! I played 4 yrs in high school and 2 yrs in college. I graduated from Texas Wesleyan University in 2004. I also played in a tennis league in the summer. I have always helped coach my friends and family.I enjoy playing long hours of tennis because not only is it a fun sport, but you get a great work out. I love teaching others because tennis can be a lot of fun! I'm patient and very knowledgeable when it comes to teaching tennis.
Teaching Style
The way I structure my lessons depend on what the student needs to work on most or what their skill level is. For some it may be working at playing the net, and for others it may be serves or maybe having a stronger back hand. For beginners I like to start with the basics of tennis first. Then I go into working on controlling the ball through different types of drills. Lastly playing different sets to give an understanding on how score is kept and the different rules. I believe that outsmarting your opponent is the key to winning matches. It's not always about how hard you can hit the ball.

Great for my daughter to begin in tennis.
This was my first time playing tennis after 7 years due to my leg amputation from a motorcycle accident. I was unsure about even being able to hit the ball again. Anna was great at pacing the lesson in a way that allowed me to find out what I could do in terms of mobility. She is very patient and easy going. I enjoyed hitting again and her instructions were very helpful and I am looking forward to the other lessons!
