About Me

My name is Adam Courtemanche. I am an experienced player/instructor. I am the head coach for Merrimack College Women’s Tennis (Division 1). I also am the head professional at Ferncroft Country Club. I’m open to giving lessons at Ferncroft and surrounding towns. We have four clay and two hard courts at Ferncroft. Before I started coaching, I played four years of college tennis at West Chester University. I am willing to work with players of any age or level. We will work together to elevate your game!

Teaching Style

I structure my lessons based off of what my student is looking for. For example, if a student is looking for more cardio, we will do a lot of hitting. If a student is looking for a lot of instruction or is new to the game, we will do a lot of ball feeding.

Adam is very nice and very patient. He has been working with my boys and he is always attentive and professional with them. The kids have improved in a very short time so I would be happy to recommend him

We communicated well to set up lessons. The first lesson was a series of warmups, mix drills, serving practice, and finally some game play. He was very helpful in critiquing my form and offering advice for improvement in getting to the ball, dealing with deep shots, and serving more consistently. I would recommend Adam as someone who needs a formal critique to improve upon the techniques I've had previously.
